El Baron: Reviews & Ratings
Best place to eat breakfast on a Sunday morning! Pupusas are on point and the service as well. I recommend "La Peperecha" to have a variety of Carne Asada, Chorizo Salvadoreño and a Pupusa of your choice with a side of Casamiento to fill your day. Add a Cafesito and it's a great meal!!!
Nice little spot. Popped in for a beer and a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised. Lively atmosphere. Friendly wait staff. Got the chicharrones. Id never had Salvadorian chicharrones before so it was not at all what I expected. But it was delicious nonetheless. Like chunks of fatty carnitas. Hit the spot. I was in a rush or I'd have ordered other dishes. If I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely come back.
Food was very fresh! Sope de Cameron is delicious I’m used to the red broth this broth is also very delicious the Shrimp pupusas are incredible!
The service was great, the ambient was quiet because we are inside but outside in the parking lot they had loud music and it seemed like a fun place to eat. The food was very tasty, we ordered some pupusas and the Carne asada von camaron plate.
I got one of the breakfast specials (yay all day breakfast!!) which came with cheese, avocado, sausage (not sure what type), eggs — choice of scrambled or sunny side up, rice and beans, plantains, pupusas, and chili. It was really nice and filling. For my appetizer, I had my first Salvadoran tamal de pollo and it was really good, wrapped in banana leaf. Reminded me a lot of a Vietnamese dish actually. The jamaica was good although could be a bit more sour. Overall, recommend for its good food and decent pricing! Oh, and the music is definitely not a bother at all I don’t know what those other reviews were talking about…
The yuca was good. The Pupusas were missing more flavor not enough loroco or chicharron revueltas.
I ordered two pupusa’s. Una Revolta, Una de queso con Larocco. cortito and salsa was good. Queso con Larocco need more larocco the green leaf or veggie lol. Besides that both were good and hit the spot. I just moved into the neighborhood so I’ll be pulling up to get my pupusa fix.
For great Salvadorian food, this is the place, I love to come get breakfast, and it never fails. The servers are nice, and the menu is translated to English for those who might need it.
